WL Firefighters Fighting Wild Fires

Windsor Locks firefighters David Montemerlo and David Montemerlo Jr. have been deployed to Oregon with a group from the CT Department of Environmental Protection. These firefighters are specially trained by the DEP to fight wild land fires. The father son team will be deployed along with the other DEP FF's for a minimum of 16 days to help fight one of the many wild fires burning in the western United States. David and David Jr. are in our thoughts and prayers for a safe return.

UPDATE: 8-16-06: Both Davids have returned home safely along with the other firefighters.
