Firefighters Help 5th Grade Students with Egg Drop Experiment

The Windsor Locks Fire Department helped out the 5th grade students at South Street School on Tuesday. Each year the students construct a container to protect an egg from a 90 ft fall from the bucket of Tower 1. The students did a great job creating containers out of all types of items. This year was unique because it was held during the first snowfall of the season. The picture to the left shows firefighters loading the containers into the bucket of Tower 1.
