Fire Destroys Vehicle, Damages Building

Firefighters were dispatched to a reported vehicle fire around 5:30pm on Monday, April 13th at 130 Ella Grasso Turnpike (RT 75). Upon arrival firefighters found a fully involved SUV next to a building. The fire was quickly extinguished by the first due engine company, but not before the fire had extended to the outside of the building causing moderate damage to the outside wall of the building. There was no damage to the inside of the structure and no one was injured. Photo Gallery
