Captain Herbert Staiger, III and Lieutenant Joseph LaPierre, III were selected to receive Merit Awards by the CT State Firefighters Association on Saturday September 20, 2008 at the Connecticut State Firefighters Convention. The members of the WLFD would like to congratulate these two deserving officers.
