WLFD Fire Apparatus

1890 Hand Drawn Hose Cart The Windsor Locks Fire department was organized in the year 1890. That year the town purchased 1000' feet of hose to be used on the departments newly acquired hand drawn hose reel. Today we host a number of modern motorized apparatus or as most people refer to them, fire trucks. Shown below is our current fleet of fire apparatus and we also have a photo gallery of our Past Apparatus.
